The group's international vocation is a legacy of D. Cosme Palacio, founder in 1894 of Bodegas Palacio, a man of his time with a vision of the future.  This drive was so strong that in 1962, the group disembarked in Columbia, gaining great success with the production and sales of its great wines Sanson and Cariñoso.

We are now a major group on the global scale, with a solid positioning in the most important markets of Europe, North America and Latin America.

The success we have achieved since then motivates us to continue on the path of internationalisation with the utmost vigour.

EXCELLENCE BEYOND WINE

  • ACCESS TO A COMPLETE AND DIVERSE PORTFOLIO

One point of contact to reach a wide range of Spanish wines. All the key protected designations of origin. All positionings, from iconic wines to more extensive ranges.

  • HIGH LEVEL OF QUALITY AND CONTINUAL IMPROVEMENTS

From the group's origins, quality and innovation have always formed part of our identity. The combination of various factors reinforces this drive for excellence: the ISO 9001/14001/2200 certifications and the control of the whole process, from the vineyard to the ageing, that allows us to establish consistent, highly stringent quality control criteria..

  • LEADERS IN TERMS OF PRIZES AND RECOMMENDATIONS

Aside from the recognition in guides and competitions the world over, in 2015 Grupo Bodegas Palacio 1894 was named the top Spanish winery and 16th in the world by the World Association of Wine Writers and Journalists (WAWWJ)

  • OENOLOGY, A FUNDAMENTAL KEY

  • TRADITION AND MODERNITY IN NUMBERS

The main criteria by which the group can be measured show its potential and high degree of development and specialization: 1,215 hectares of vineyard, 24 million litres, 20,000 French and American oak barrels, as well as a bottling capacity of 2.75 million bottles.
