The grapes that went into this magnificent wine were harvested from our oldest vineyards after rigourous monitoring of ripeness. The picking was carried out using small crates so as not to damage the fruit and upon arrival at the winery they underwent cold pre-maceration prior to the traditional production process in stainless steel tanks.
After long maceration, the wine was transferred to French oak barrels, where it remained for 22 months. Finally, after a period of bottle conditioning of at least 12 months, this Reserva is ready to be enjoyed.
Intense cherry red.
Great intensity and elegance. Fruity notes appear at first, including cranberries and red forest fruits, alongside aromas of blue fruits such as sloe berries. Delicate aromas of pipe tobacco, menthol and cedar have been added through its ageing in French oak, with a mineral finish that gives it personality.
It has notable weight on the palate, it is enveloping and glycerine, well balanced, with fine, polished tannins and a long, delicious finish leaving an aftertaste of dried fruit.
